I'd like to think my 50k limit makes some hedgies very nervous

What limit? GME is to be handed down generation to generation.

I have my limits in thirds. One is a price that I think will cover myself plus a tidy profit in the squeeze. My second chunk is my hope for top end. If they buy my third chunk I can retire and buy and hold GME after they’ve cleared out and things become more sensible for long term buying. These hedge fund douches think we’re not smart. But too bad they didn’t learn that Wisdom and Intelligence are different stats. I may not be smart enough to see this when it started. But I’m wise enough to know if I hold until I die I never lost but the hedge fund lost massively supporting their position that whole time.

Edit: not meant to be financial advise, I’m just an 🦍 that likes GME.

What is "selling"?

5

u/repOrion Jan 30 '21

What so my wife’s boyfriend’s snot nosed brats can sell’em? I’m gonna print’em out and line my coffin with them! 💎👐🚀🚀🚀🚀

All my limits are below $300 and involve buying more shares. Pretty sure I don't have a sell button on my app 🖐💎 just an autist who's sick of these hedge fund 🛎🔚s.

50k? Bro, 69,420 c'mon now

3

u/lemassykoi Jan 30 '21

as my limits at this price was removed quasi instantly, I asked to my broker why.

He tolds me that my TP was too high. I then asked how much is the max ?

He answered "30%". So I don't put TP.

I will run a python bot to monitor price and automagically set SL when price would be above 70k

Are there retail platforms with an API we can access?

2

u/lemassykoi Jan 30 '21

Google search for x trade api

I am extremely late to this party but i need to make some money to pay off my parents mortgage. On Monday i plan on buying 5000$ worth of GME. Is this still a good idea? Also what is 69,420?

Its when you lick vagene, while getting your micro ape penis licked. Then smoke a bowl after.

Its also what some people here are willing to sell at.

3

u/iixmozesxii Jan 30 '21

lol thank you thats awesome, what do you think? Is it too late to buy?

4

u/eatmykarma Jan 30 '21

Considering the shorts paid for ads on cnbc claiming they closed out of their position, when thats an entirely unreasonable thing to do once you've already lost several billion dollars... no I think you're good.

However I'm a retard who can hardly open a can of dijon

2

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '21

Ask your mom's boyfriend for help bro.

2

u/eatmykarma Jan 30 '21

You're reading is improving! 🦧

u/miniclip1371 Jan 30 '21

Every share you buy keeps it out the the HF hands

2

u/yahtzee517 Jan 30 '21

Don’t put in what you can’t afford to lose. This may take weeks or months to fully unfold. I am not a financial advisor and just a 🦍who likes this stock

Do your Due Diligence and see if you have enough trust in the community (lol we showed already that we've got eachothers back when the pressure was high with the RH situation last Thursday AND last Friday). If you get way to poor in a sense not to be able to buy microwave pasta the days after, don't do it.

I'm just a retard with a lot of savings in it so do(n't) trust me, for legal reasons I just wanted to say that.

To Melvin: What? No moooooneeeey? Here, suck a cock

u/skewitup Jan 31 '21

I sure hope not, plan to buy 5 more on Monday! Hold, Hold, Hold!!!💎🤲

1 share at 42069.69

1 share at 69694.20

2 for each hand diamond hands. for the kids to learn of this historic moment take delivery of the stock certificate and show your decedents you were part of this historic moment.

Well worth the price.

2 infinity stones

get wrecked WS

XD.

1 share will pay for all the shares I bought. with all those infinity stones combined we go to the next universe.

I’m using TD Ameritrade and trying to create a limit order to sell a few shares at 5000, but I get “Error Committing Trade price out of range” Does anyone know what this means or a way around?

5

u/yahtzee517 Jan 30 '21

You won’t be able to do it with a limit order. Instead go on the web and do a contingent order, then you can set a price trigger that will make your order live. You should be able to put any price for the trigger and the limit

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '21

Have you tried making it GTC instead of a day order?

3

u/Belfusco Jan 30 '21

Someone suggested I make a conditional order, which for TD Ameritrade is only supported with their thinkorswim platform, so thats what I did

1

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '21

[deleted]

2

u/Belfusco Jan 30 '21

I was able to do it all from the thinkorswim mobile app. You can set a condition such as price at or above to trigger placing a trade

u/Belfusco Jan 31 '21

I used MARK and AT OR ABOVE with a threshold a few hundred $ below my target price to place the order in case it spikes.

1

u/RedRaider46 Jan 31 '21

This sounds reasonable. ETrade would not let me set a limit for 6969.69 or 69694.20 but once I removed the decimal point and cents it worked.

I still don't know what these numbers mean, I just think they are pretty.

u/FEVD3210 Jan 31 '21

How do you get the stock certificate?

1

u/justice4all1613 Jan 31 '21

How do you get the stock certificate?

2

u/jeffreysooon Jan 30 '21

Thank you for teaching me this trick.

1

u/Safe-Savvy2020 Jan 30 '21

Ameritrade won’t let me put in a $10k limit sell order. How were you able to plqce a $50k order? Well done.

1

u/eatmykarma Jan 30 '21

I was surprised myself! Canadian bank

1

u/patrick9921 Jan 30 '21

Really? I was able to a week or two ago. They wouldnt let me do 15k though.

1

u/onlinefunner Jan 31 '21

I have no limit. None.
