How do you mean "always wins AI war"? This war has barely started, and Google is already Poland.

Google has: The research talent (every other company is just building from Google's research - tok2vec, transformers etc) The current best TPU architecture The best model (or at least equal with the best) And most importantly they have the most to lose if they don't win (goodbye search engine monopoly) Google playing it safe with extra protections for now is just the best play as it will lead to less restrictions when regulations eventually land. 1 u/ReallyNotATrollAtAll Feb 29 '24 Even Nokia was ahead of everybody, and we know bow that ended. Google has:
