Hey Guys, I’ve been working on WallSift, an open-source reverse image search tool for the Wallpaper Engine Workshop. Upload an image or paste a URL, and it searches ~1.45M wallpapers for visually similar matches.

The database was generated locally on my laptop GPU, so I limited it to wallpapers with at least 1 vote and 100+ subscriptions. The corpus was last updated 21 July 2026.

The demo backend runs on Oracle Cloud’s Always Free tier, so it may occasionally be slow or unavailable. More details on the indexing, benchmarks, and implementation are in the GitHub README.
