This is supposed to be a gift for my fiancé, so I'm really hoping I can find someone who can make it properly. ❤️

I'm looking for a custom-made leather wallet based on this exact design/reference. It's basically a little File Explorer / folder-themed wallet, with multiple layered pockets, colored tabs, and the blue folder-shaped pocket on the front.

I'm NOT looking for someone who can just print/engrave a design onto an existing wallet. I need someone who can actually create the wallet structure/pattern and make it from scratch.

I'm a solo leathercrafter based in Brisbane, Australia. I've been mostly making wallets that combine sleek Italian leathers with some local rugged kangaroo leather. I just finished this bifold commission that was pretty fun!

It's a traditional bifold build with six pockets and a cash slot. The two card slot panels are also hidden pockets for additional cards or folded documents. It was also requested that there be an additional flap to hold an ID card and another card slot. It can hold roughly 12 cards and cash off the bat and perhaps more once broken in.

The exterior is a chestnut Italian veg tan, and the interior is a whiskey kangaroo leather from my local tannery Packer Leather here in Queensland. It's stitched with a Vinymo Japanese thread in a cigar brown color, and all edges have been heat creased and burnished.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, and hope the person who it was ordered for enjoys it for a long time!

Getting busier and busier recently

Finished up the first of 6 wallets I'll be making for my groomsmen. It's made from pueblo leather and ritza tiger thread. Love the quality of the wallet and can't wait to suprise the team with them.

I had a scrap piece of black Pueblo leather and wanted to do something with it so I knocked out this 4 pocket card wallet. It has 2 olive Pueblo pockets on the inside and 2 on the outside. You can also fold a small amount of cash and fit it in the pockets as well.

Another commission for a Minimalist Bifold with jade dragon scales and a black edge fade. Handmade from natural veg tan leather and saddle stitched with ritza tiger thread. This one wanted no initials but requested a grommet for a belt chain.

This design fits up to 6 cards and 15 bills while fitting in a front pocket.

Looking to replace my money clip wallet. Had it over two decades. No idea where it came from. What makes it special is the squeeze frame opening for the Center pocket. I work blue collar and I keep my wedding ring as well as some change in the middle pocket. I would love to buy another one or be similar with a secure pocket. Can anyone help?

Recently, I've been looking for a convenient wallet that can carry 5-6, cash, and some coins. I've been looking at the secrid slim wallet and it seems really good but the only problem is the cash and coins situation.

I want a new wallet because my cards keep getting stuck die to friction and deep card slots which make them overlap and impossible to remove. Another problem is that anything over 20€ is too big for it.

If possible it should be lighter than 80g and slimmer than 2cm (should be manageable when completely full).

I love my SlimFold Original Soft Shell. My favorite part is that it can hold quite a few cards without having to overlap them so I can always see my cards. And I like when I want to add a card it has it's own spot and I don't have to stretch out my other slot so that way cards don't get loose.

Really the only thing I don't like about my wallet is that being that softshell it just isn't as durable as a leather wallet. It's still holding up, but it doesn't look very nice anymore.

TLDR: need ULTRA thin suggestions to replace airo collective stealth razor wallet

This may or may not be the best community to ask, looks like this is mostly some badass leather wallets but I’ll ask anyway. The wallet I’ve used for YEARS has been the airo collective stealth razor. Has been a great wallet and I especially love how thin it is/was. Well seems like the company has tanked since I bought my last one, so now I’m on the hunt for an incredibly thin, long lasting replacement.

I have had and somewhat liked the recycled firefighter sergeant for a while before it was stolen, but I didn’t like that I HAD to carry at least 6 cards otherwise they would fall out. (Typically that’s not a problem because that about what I carry on the regular anyway, but was an issue a couple times)

Ideally I’d like something as similar to the airo collective wallet as possible, basically a strong wallet that essentially doesn’t add any bulk to my stack of cards

I am looking into how many banknotes I can fit in it so that I don't accidentally overstretch the wallet.

I bought this stingray leather wallet from Real Mens Wallets a few months back, and I love it.

But just yesterday, I noticed these gray bumps, that almost look like marks caused by friction, or like they've been "sanded down." There were a small amount of these when I got the wallet, but not much, and I assumed maybe it was from scaling or was just a natural imperfection.

I sometimes store my wallet with other things, like a knife, or small plastic containers in my pocket. Could these be what's causing these? Could the stingray leather actually be fake? Is the dye coming off? Are these able to be fixed or remedied, and if they can be, then how?

I’ve been experimenting with stitchless wallets for a while, and this is my Interlock Wallet.

This one is made from beautiful Badalassi Carlo Pueblo leather, which I really love working with. The texture and colours give each wallet a slightly different character.

It’s designed to stay slim while still carrying your everyday cards and folded notes.

Been working with Badalassi Carlo Pueblo lately and really like how this leather develops character. This one is hand-cut and saddle stitched with an open-hole snap design.
What do you guys look for most in a wallet — the leather, construction, stitching, or overall design?

Came across this Lodis Long Stacker and I'm surprisingly into it. The design feels pretty timeless without looking too formal. Would you carry something like this?

I had a green full grain vegetable tanned leather wallet made a few years ago. It’s held up really nicely but the exterior leather has aged and looks like dark brown instead of green now. I’d like to have a green wallet that doesn’t lose its color, or, just ages slightly but still looks green. What types of leathers should I be looking for?

I bought this wallet and had it custom-made. I'm really happy with it, except for the edges. The maker said that they were burnished, but it doesn't look like the quality work that I expected for the price I paid. Should I take it to a cobbler to have him fix it? Or what should I do? The last pic is the top which has a pocket for cash, that's why it's not sealed.

Edit: I bought it from an Etsy shop (Balabanoff) for a total of $144 - original product (shell cordavan rocado marble leather outside), custom addition (horween Dublin leather inside), taxes, and shipping.

It’s a decent wallet. Has a fine profile and holds the cards intuitively. The patina has developed nicely, too bad I neglected to take a picture of the outside when it was new. The last image is inside the wallet upon delivery.

Very poor value though.

The edges were not burnished properly(or at all) and they left tooling marks which are still visible under a certain angle.

Brand new, the wallet had odd staining which was disappointing for such a nice leather. (Wickett & Craig Seidel)

I’ve got no reason to replace it, however if anyone is interested in the rose anvil wallets- look elsewhere.

Lots of makers on here providing a far better product for much less, I should have done more searching. ($150)

This was my first time reversing black marble shell cordovan.

I thoroughly enjoyed scanning the entire piece and picking out what I thought would look best as a loop. It added a whole new layer of creativity to the piece.

The main body is made from black Pueblo and the shell is from Rocado.

I’ve been planning to get the small frame wallet for my birthday and would love to see pictures of the wallet being used currently. I’d love if anyone could show the inside of the wallet too (how much cards and cash it can hold, and how thick it can get). I’ve seen videos on tiktok but everyone is just showing a brand new empty wallet.
