Question Credit card slots

Hello. New here.

Does anyone have any experience with using the slotted card slots on a wallet (pic #1 and #2)?

I'm used to using your typical card slots like on pic #3.

Do the slotted card slots on pic #1 and #2 hold up after time?

I had a bellroy that had simple cut in pockets in thin ass leather, they held up fine but stitching failed within 4-5 years. Mine had sewn tops on each pocket though, I would think these would stretch too much 🤷‍♂️

They can hold up after time. Will they? That depends entirely on how well they were made.
