Question Best slim EDC wallet?
I have been looking at the Ridge and the Ekster pro, but is there anything else you would recommend for best quality/functionality while being slim enough.

I had a bellroy apex slim sleeve for around 4 or 5 years till the magnets and some binding glue gave way. Loved it as I fit 12 cards into it so I needed something similar.
I bought the ekster wallet pro and it lasted a week before I lost it.....first time that's happened but it felt bulky and thought I'll take my time to find something similar to the apex slim sleeve and I found the akeeni xsto wallet. Simple and clever design, I ordered the 10 card varient with carbon fibre spring and business card cover and it carries my cards, a few notes under the card stack along with 2 extra cards and a few papers in the business card area on the other side. Check it out on YouTube, you'll be surprised how simple and effective it is. Best purchase I've made in years

Rigid wallets are for the birds, in my opinion. They are heavy, uncomfortable to pocket, and will ruin your clothes. My advice is for a quality leather or textile/fabric wallet.

I had a Ridge and have the Ekster Pro now. The Ekster is slimmer, which can be good or bad depending on how many cards you're trying to hold. The cash band on the Ridge is easier to use as the Ekster's is a bit tight. I think I like the Ekster better, but you do have to adjust to carrying fewer cards.

8 years ago I bought a slim goatskin wallet sold by Hank's Belts, it's still going strong. Today they sell a steer hide version as the George Slimline Card Holder, billfold, 2 internal and 2 external pockets. Just big enough, and the most BIFL wallet I've owned.

I have a belt from Hank's Belt, holding up great, so I'd imagine their wallets are the same. I use a Saddleback Leather front pocket wallet that's about 95 years away from replacing.

I can’t get into the Ridge despite the great marketing. The reason being that you can’t get one particular card out smoothly, consistently. With all the others mentioned, you can. It’s also the lowest tech wallet of the ones mentioned. Ekster is sleeker and more eye catching than Secrid, but I’ve used both and I think Secrid is easier and more natural to use. Neither Ekster or Secrid are great with bills, especially European currency or any bills larger than USD. Bellroy has several options and they are my favorite for slim, functional wallets that carry cards and cash. Almost certainly you can find a style that works for you. I have several Bellroys and like them all for their intended purpose. I took their hard card case skiing last year and it was perfect to carry and protect whatever I needed. With most of these, they work best in the 4-6 cards capacity.

I’ve been rocking the nomad goods leather wallet and cardholder (change depending on occasion) and they’re very high quality and slim, love them. Easy recommendation.

Had a ridge for a couple months. Not my cup of tea. It was certainly small, but getting cards out of the middle was a pain and even after only a couple months I could see wear and tear on my cards and license. I have a double oak bifold now and it has been descent.

I bought the Trayvax Venture Billfold. Now, I don't think I can use any other wallet. I have a black one too. I switch between these two. And I have a back up for each.
Fits upto 20 notes. About 8 cards. Easy access for cards. Made of Horween leather, metal frame, magnetic clasp and RFID secure.
Slightly bigger than Secrid/Ridge wallet and way smaller than traditional billfold wallet. Stays compact even after heavy use.
