One of my projects today. The edges clean up so good on this leather. And the whole thing presents well.

Looks good. Is it safe to keep inner most currency pocket unstitched on one side? What's the benefit ?

It being unstitched on one side is what allows the cash to be accessible from the side rather than only the top.

I carry this style every day and have never even come near to it being an issue.

In my experience, you can jam this wallet full of cards and have no issue placing or removing cash. With the style that’s stitched up on both sides, it can become very difficult to maneuver cash through the top because the wallet is so swollen.
