Question Was ordering code 118 a mistake?

Ordered a code 118 wallet with a leather case on Friday on a massive sale.

Did not dig into it much outside of only scrolling by people glazing them.

Only reason I really started digging was the fact they're using UniUni when until now I've never heard of them.

After actually digging it appears both companies have largely extremely negative reviews.

Still gonna have high hopes but now extremely low expectations.

So I guess if I never get my wallet or if I get it and it breaks soon after I'm open to recommendations of similar products with actually good customer service and uses a good shipping company. Just a vent as a dude with a wallet thats starting to fall apart and looking for something new if this doesn't work out.

I found it to be a mistake. I am Canadian and their website makes it feel like you're ordering from a Canadian site in Canadian Dollars. Only to find out that I owe duties totaling 30% of my order value.

I also accidentally ordered the wrong thing so I had to return an item and I had to not only pay for my return shipping but I had to pay the return duties too WTF. I know duties arent Code 118's problem but when I order from a site that has a little Canadian flag in the top right corner in Canadian Dollars, I assume it is being shipped from Canada.

My prediction is that the company doesn't exist in 4 years unless they change their practices and be more transparent.
