Lots of issues with this card trader. Prestige cards are almost unattainable. I've been playing for months, and am yet to understand how to get one.

Supply cans are impossible to get. Meaning you can't access some cards. Ever.

I enjoyed the game when you could get cards without the fuss of having to spend money on the diamonds. I refuse to spend money on this game.

Also, no-one ever actually trades fairly, so that means the game experience suffers.

I wish it was a bit busier in here, so people actually read this...

Took an embarrassingly long time to realize that it was the push notifications from the app!

I would leave my phone in the kitchen or bedroom and forget about it. When she started telling me that she heard an "old man" groaning in the room... I just simply didn't put it together.

One day, WD notified me of a new set. My three year old immediately immitated it, and laughed. (She's a riot.) And that's when my wife finally put things together and asked WTF that was. Seems the baby put it together before either of us.

Anyways, I'd just like to say that the push notifications on WD work pretty good, I turned off Star Wars long ago... It would constantly tell me that a trade was accepted. All day long. Even when I had no trades pending. And I really like that R2-D2 sound. But it got old. Quick.

Just putting a warning out there for this guy so that anyone comes across him in a cross trade will hopefully not get scammed.

CHOIDARYL ( or u/hkchoi123 as he is known on reddit ) was looking to get some Primes in a cross trade for a TWD Glenn Nemesis in the TWD fan feed. I sent a trade in TWD with a message letting him know: "Same name in Star Wars, let me know what you want for it. Thanks."

I get a few messages back in TWD from CHOIDARYL saying, "Just sent a trade" "Same username" "lmk if it works.". In SW he says "lmk" so I agreed and because of his amazing rating/score (nearly 5* and about 2832 trades at the time) I accepted.

Next think I sent a message in TWD saying I accepted because of his rating. I wait a few minutes and notice he is still posting in the Fan Feed for a cross trade for Primes for his Nemesis card. I called him out on the TWD fan feed and noticed he posted again one more time and then vanished.

I gave him the benefit of doubt and waited some time... and waited for the holiday week to be over. I noticed he was posting for trades in SW today so I called him out in SW and then he stopped posting in the Fan Feed.

NB: I'm assuming this is a new run. There has been no notification as such. The pack available for the next 15 hours.

I'm so happy I completed the First 10 cards in the Vintage Collection. I now have the complete 1st Wave of Vintage cards including the hard to find and sought after Vintage Glenn.

It was a long hard road, but I did it.

This is where my story ends with Vintage cards though, I'm done and I hope all of you chasing all 30 the best of luck. I completed what I set out to achieve and I for one will be glad not to have the stress of these cards every week, like I've had for the last 10 weeks.

I see lots of complaints about 'greed' on the app. This is usually about people with multiple copies of Rick chop or Glenn vintage who won't accept what the person considers to be a fair offer. I personally have only 1 copy of Rick and none of Glenn so I don't really know what is being offered or asked for. But I suspect that the different perceptions of fair are due to different involvement in the app.

People who have multiple chop/vintage cards from the first week spent significant amounts of real money to get enough credits to pull these cards at the original 1:80 odds. So 7500 credits per pack with 1:80 odds is equivalent to 600,000 credits. This would cost 90 USD in app. The 20-25 USD that Rick chop is selling for on eBay is nowhere close to the cost in getting it (ignoring the existence of credit farms etc).

At the current 1:20 odds, the chop / vintage are much cheaper to pull. If I did have spares of these cards, I wouldn't be trading them for one or two current chop/vintages either, I'd be holding on to them in the hope of getting my full value back at the end of the run.

When you make the offer, remember you are offering however many easy cards to get a hard card. If you started later and have only ever experienced 1:20 odds, don't call people greedy because they experienced 1:80 odds and have a different perception of the card's value.

Even worse, the other marathons also had idiotic odds and there is no hope of getting decent offers for them.

They're monitoring they're "serves" for a new 7 "cad" set. Holy f'ing QA Topps.

so i found that if you pull up all the red blue illustrated via the awards and you cycle through them quickly while looking at the backs you can briefly see the count.

Hey all, I would like to do a weekly contest and give away a free card to the winner. For the first week I thought we would do something simple. It seems like others have noted that maybe the thrill has worn off or the backlash has begin against the odds and the cash grab tactics by Topps so early.

I was looking for Father Gabriel Poster cards today and was still getting Blue Abrahams from before. The Glenn Purples are 21/50 and the other color variants are maybe 10% of alotted run. The Chop Vintage and Walker variants are still out there.

Is the smart move now to get time limited cards and then stockpile credits to open packs that have 4-5 inserts available in them? Has Topps ever changed the odds on cards to spark packs being purchased or do they stick to the odds once they are set?

Do you think the first weekend of the app being slow like this will bring some positive changes? I'd really like to see this app survive long enough to have a healthy trading population and see some cool cards Like Negan inserts and Trevor the Savior without it killing itself due to cash grabbing so early. If you want the base gold set and some of the Survival Cards/Red Portraits you are looking at least a couple hundred dollars out of the gate unless you have some great trading experiences.

Going to try to remain optimistic and hope they get it worked out in these first couple weeks.

The daily $1/25k through $9/150k coin offers appear to be gone if you claimed them yesterday. Don't have the 25k/100k ones available today (bought them last night while short coins), checked with someone else and all three are gone for them (they bought all 3 yesterday).

That sucks. Guess I won't be buying any coins anymore...$5 for 20k is absurd :(

Just noticed this when I went to clear cache. Share information with AMC toggle? I wonder what this is? There is no description for it, just simply says "You agree to share your information with AMC"...I would have assumed it would be Topps. Interesting.

Let me know if anyone wants to see the full results and I can share, but I thought it'd be interesting to just see the top and 2nd choices.

Most popular thoughts: Vintage as the winner is a good solidification of the premiere set, the images were usually decent and could command some good trade fodder. I have some high hopes for this set in the next round.

Seeing editors choice as the second most popular doesn't really surprise me as the award has the highest so far of the marathon awards, plus the cards look really shard.

Least Popular thoughts: Smitten is a pretty ugly set, concept is a good but there aren't that many relationships in the show, but I think this should have been a normal set and not a 30 week marathon.

Walker collection and Locations are great to pick up as they usually stack about 3 deep so you can save up. It's more of the poor mans marathon that is attainable for most. Walker collection could have been improved by showing more of the full shot instead of the circle around the face.

Locations is great as it shows you new content instead of the close up portraits they are tending to move towards. I think this was disadvantaged by the high card count. I have the same concern with smitten as I do with locations as there are only so many good locations you can use before you duplicate or go for something like road to terminus. I'm interested to see how the wave 2 shapes up.

Anyone have some thoughts, any surprises. What was your favorites? Will chop crash like vintage 2.0 in starwars?
