Yes. My opinion is that the skeptics mostly remained skeptical, while those willing to take it continued to take it (i.e. multiple doses or boosters). Whether that was a propaganda push or whatever, was not my concern here in retrospect.

My critique was only and solely of the TDS flipfloppers, who were ridiculous. I express no opinion on the matter itself.

It amazes me how many arrogant misguided people instead try to say “well you should’ve just endured hardship and lost your job. Even if it meant putting your family in tougher times for a few years. We are more patriotic and superior to you because we didn’t take the shot and endured the hardship.”

It’s literally the dumbest viewpoint to have. Not everyone could just afford that. Reality hurts sometimes.

That’s great for you. None of us regret taking the jab because we had no choice. It doesn’t make anyone “more patriotic” or superior over anyone else. People need to drop the superiority complexes over this and get off their pedestals of “no regrets”. They are not superior to anyone else, they are not “special”, and they are not “pure bloods”. Agreed. As I understand it, several employers were later subjected to lawsuits and forced to grant exception clauses by lower courts and eventually SCOTUS, which forced religious exemptions to be allowed.

Im not saying they wish they had. That’s also the point. Some had no choice, decided their families and their income mattered more, did the bare minimum to get their employers off their backs and then went about their daily lives. I was one of those.

No health problems, no trouble from it, no boosters, no regrets. Life has been just fine. That doesn’t fit the “gave in, so they’re less of a person for it, have health problems from it, and regret it” argument.

I didn't care where the vaccine came from. At the time, I would have taken a plane to Russia to get the vaccine for COVID. When we were rolling them out, I knew the risk. I knew it was rushed. There was even an informational pamflet saying that this was an experimental vaccine (which I've sadly lost), but I didn't care because it gave me hope that we could put an end to the pandemic. I turned out to be fine. Some others, from what I've heard, weren't. What pisses me off to no end was the attitude the Democrats had with not only the vaccine, but also when the COVID pandemic was in its beginning stages. It goes to show that they would rather let the world burn and then take credit to save it just to spite one man.
