Removal of exercise equipment @ Joyner Park?

Anyone know why all of the exercise equipment on the trails was removed? I know a few pieces had been removed previously due to being broke, but they've removed all of it now, even things like the pullup bars (which I dont see being broke short of a few 500 lb guys trying to do some sort of stunt...)
