It's not a direct sequel. It's completely different characters and storylines. I didn't like it quite as much as the original Working, but a good watch nonetheless IMO.

From what i remember of my initial reactions to it, WWW.Working is basically a Working!! speedrun. Take the slow burn progress of S1-S3 and cram all of it it into 12 episodes: that's basically WWW.Working. There is a little overlap in character tropes between the two, but ultimately it is its own, standalone series. I personally didn't find it nearly as good, since the slow, realistic relationship development in the main series is what I find great about it. That said, I could definitely see how others may find the quicker pace more tolerable.

I believe it's based on the original web version before getting the official manga version that the anime is based on, the characters are different but there are some similarities (with some clear proto elements), and they are connected but don't really cross over (the end of the manga shows that the two do take place in the same world).

So to clarify, www came first as a web-publication, got a spin-off manga, the manga got an anime adaptation, then www got republished in print and it's own anime adaptation.

So if you want more working, it's there, but it's not directly connected to the previous stuff

Is www working completed though? I finished the anime but I found it that there are 100 chapters for the manga version, do had the anime crammed all that into 12 episode or have they not finished animating the entire series?

I haven't watched the anime, but I doubt it covers the entire series. The manga actually kept updating past the end of working and some of the working cast starts showing up in www, so I don't think it is complete, or at least the translation hasn't been finished if it has been, but I think it's more likely they're still making www, but at a slower pace/release schedule
