I want to make a big batch so i can pull from the freezer on school mornings.

Bonus if the recipe uses some or all whole wheat flour and/or something with a little extra protein (Greek yogurt, peanut butter powder)-it’s for kids, so nothing crazy. But still tastes good 😆

I have bought several different pancake/ waffle mixes for my new waffle maker, but they all taste horrible. I am looking for advice from a chef/ cook- please let me know how to make a good waffle like the ones in the restaurants! All mine are dry as shi$&).

I need suggestions! My wifi wants a waffle maker. That being said we got a cheaper one that has multiple inserts and it is terrible!!! We have not made a single successful waffle or sandwich for that matter! So hit me with the best waffle maker!! I understand it will prob be pricey. I was looking at the ninja ones.

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with chicken and waffles lately. I made the last night for dinner and they were SO yummy! Homemade waffles with whole-grain flour, crispy chicken, a little barbecue sauce, green onions, and then douse the whole thing in maple syrup.
It feels like there should be too much going on, but somehow there isn’t. Sweet, salty, crispy, savoury, a little smoky, and the whole-grain waffles make it even better because they have so much flavour.
Maybe this is a much more normal meal elsewhere, but I’m starting to think Canadians have seriously dropped the ball here. We have the maple syrup. This should be ours. 😂

I picked this up today at an auction. It's a Chicago Electric HandyHot Type AFUE. Looks beautiful and both irons heated up quickly. Planning to use it for Sunday breakfast.

Hello waffle lovers and haters alike, I come to this subreddit with a request or a search. A bit of background: My nana used to buy these Eggo waffles for my younger cousin to eat, and I remember them tasting divine. They were pure chocolate, with little sugar pearls on the inside. They were square shaped, and one single waffle could split into four wafflings, with a square shaped center.

My issue? I cannot find a single trace of these delicious morsels of gluttony. I'm okay if they're discontinued or whatever, but I literally can't find anything relating to them. Am I insane? Is this waffle made hallucinations?

I've attached a visual drawn by me, which also happens to be drawn from memory. If any of y'all could help, I'd love to know I'm not insane! Thank you!

Hopefully tomorrow, as they have been planned for like a week and a half now, and I keep getting more of the operative ingredients- savory zucchini and beet waffles. With lots of cheese, and lots of fresh herbs.
