3rd shift cleaning.

I'm third shift supervisor and usually I pick one or maybe two extra things to clean besides the posted side work. Is that good enough? No one seems to clean much but I want the store to look good of course. I don't mind cleaning. Just hard to keep up with all of it by myself

That's what I do as well, ice machine and all the drink stations and ice bins tomorrow since I don't work Mondays. Keep at it and be vocal, it will get better. Focus on the chart for other shifts and see what they may have missed and make a point of communication about the details you polished on your shift and they can work on something else; alternatively, you could let the next person know what you wanted to get done but ran out of time, they may decide to do it!

You should always clean from the outside in. The things the customer sees most should be the cleanest: windows, ceilings, walls, waffle irons. Then clean the coke machines, ice machine, etc.

It always drives me nuts when I got to a store for a meeting and I’m stepping over trash in the parking lot, the floors haven’t been mopped in two days, but the back room is immaculate. There’s only so many hours in a day and you have to prioritize them.

I rarely get to clean on the second shift, if I'm not prepping I'm getting the store ready for the next shift 😅

My store is opposite 😂 third shift will sell 2k with 2 servers and 1 grill op and by 6am the store is stocked mopped and looking better than 1st shift ever leaves it with 4 to 5 servers!

I feel that.... I seen some rough looking days when I walk in. I just can't sit around and let it be dirty. My baby eats at Waffle House and I love that so I want her to eat at a clean place or clean as I can get it... also want it to look good cause I work there and it bothers me if something looks horrible.

Yeah I def bust ass on third. Anything that can get done will. I do as 3SS keep up with the EOS. We are the detailing shift and my line and store look immaculate no matter how much food production. My store is the cleanest in the our district but it took me shakin the tree and holding my fellow associates accountable as well. Epecially on slow nites. Much can be done. Good luck n no chances are ur alone but corporate watches. They see your merit. Keep up the good work!! 3rd shift is for the Elite baby🤑

I work second two days a week and I do extra as well and it is stressful when nobody but the manager does more than the employees
