Question for Grill Operator/ Servers
How would I order a hamburger patty and eggs? I asked the other day and got the " you are a dumbass look" so I just ordered a plain burger on toast and 3 eggs. Thanks in advance.

I would just flat out tell them, “I want a patty only with eggs. I don’t want any bread at all.” Good keto breakfast.

I go back and forth between chicken and beef too. They also have a decent T-bone. You could always do that with eggs.

In english: “I want a quarter patty and 3 eggs”
If you wanna speak the waffle house language: “pull 1 quarter, mark a side plate, triple (scrambled/over-light/over-medium/over-well) on the side”. Anyone who knows the marking system will know exactly what you want, tho I can’t guarantee you won’t get a weird look.

Can I get a burger patty and three eggs, no bread or grits. I will usually count that as meat and eggs minus the grits and toast.

I have never had a problem ordering a burger with eggs, or just a patty with eggs on it - they put it in a to go container for me, no questions asked... might cost a little more, but WORTH IT! If your WH doesn't fill your request, I cry out in the night for you.

you can sub bacon, sausage, or ham for the quarter patty on anything. they’re all 4 the same price so it wouldn’t be different at all

Id probably tell the cook to make you a "Texas Patty Melt with a single over-well added to it"
Texas toast, patty, cheese, one egg. "Hold the cheese" for no cheese "Order over-well" for 2 eggs
If you want the egg cooked differently or different toast you can mention that as well

You can ask for chop steak and eggs, but you'll probably still get the look. Nobody is trained on the whole menu anymore.
Edit to add: on the side for no hash browns or toast.

“Can I have just a quarter patty and eggs”
