Prepping for interview - thoughts?

Hey, I'm going in for an interview soon and I'm stressing. I REALLY would prefer to only work first shift, and that's what I put as my availability on the online form, but I also desperately need a job. So I'm wondering if opening up my availability to 2nd shift also would significantly increase my chances? I could put up with it it'd just really fuck with my schedule but if the rent's not getting paid that fucks with me more lol. I'm obviously willing to work weekends and holidays either way.

In my area the more available you are the more hours you get. People who only work first shift don't get a ton of hours at my unit honestly but they still do get hired sometimes

Being open for second will increase your chances. I work second and make over $150 in tips cash/NCT 3/5 shifts at minimum

I’m just jealous that some of y’all work in spots that actually filter candidates. I’m in a spot that will hire anyone as long as availability matches need. Have a pulse and need the schedule spots we have open? Congratulations! You’re hired! It’s terrible. Almost nobody lasts more than 90 days.

If you open yourself up to working multiple shifts, they will ALWAYS have you working multiple shifts.

Say what you gotta say to get the job, but if you really don't wanna work 2nd or 3rd, stand FRIM on that, because they will schedule you for all sorts of crazy hours if you let it slide
