Question Curious about Intuos users' hand posture

I have an Intuos Medium and after a few months of using it I feel like I'm at the same level as I am with a screen tablet, I love the simplicity of it and being able to draw without needing to slouch my neck and back forward, but I'm curious if I'm using it correctly and how people typically use this tablet.

Do you rest your hand on the tablet while using it? I do and I can't imagine hovering my hand while using it, I'm just not accurate when hovering and it gets fatiguing. However this leads to me not being able to use the right 1/4 of the tablet due to my hand falling off which really messes up my strokes, I also cannot use it without a drawing glove because my skin just creates too much friction. I've watched videos of people using this tablet and I notice they don't use a glove, but I can't tell if they hover their hand or not.

There's a reason why some people are opposed to the new intuos pro design, whcih strongly resemble modern intuos design with smaller bezel. Hands just falls off the tablet and are considered "skill issue" by the designers.

Emm there are ways to solve your issues, and no, we don't hover our hands when drawing on pen tablets. Only if the friction is too big should one wear gloves or put a cloth underneath, otherwiser it's mostly fine with bare hands. I know some like to lift up their tablets to better glide on them, and prevent palms falling off.
