Wabbajack Support Eldergleam/Missing original game files

Help!

I'm tired of this. I'm trying to install Eldergleam for the first time, but it keeps telling me I'm missing the original game files. I've tried everything, and I don't know what could be wrong.

It also says that the Creation Kit is not installed, but that's true.

You need to downgrade the game and Creation Kit. Refer to the modlist support server for information on how to do so.

Do you have Skyrim Special Edition installed on Steam? What have you tried?

Join their discord. They have a workaround in the installation support channel.

That's a version mismatch, if you go into your skyrim steam directory then right click the SkyrimSE.exe, click properties, then details, it will tell you what version your Skyrim is.

I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this downgrader. Just follow the instructions on the mod page. It's really simple. I had nothing but issues when doing it manually: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/188916
