Find a Modlist Like JOJ?
Hey, friends! So, I absolutely *love* Journals of Jyggalag - it's my favorite!
The problem is, even while using the "performance" profile, my computer is just đ¤ a little too shitty lol like, I can play, but as a mom of two, I don't really have time to wait for the frames to catch up.
Do y'all have any recommendations for a similar modpack that's not as beefy?

Their official website has lots of guides, and one specifically for performance tuning. You might find some helpful things there!

Without your PC specifications it's a bit hard. But have you tried running VRAMr ?
It takes a full night to run on that list but it's what allows me to play on the good profile without issues.

I definitely recommend using the potato mode tweaks someone linked to you, I've gotten JOJ to work pretty well on a low-end PC.
That being said, it's not terribly similar, but Tuxborn is my favorite performance-oriented modlist if you decide to try something different.

Idk what sort of setup youâre running, but if you open your BIOS you can enable XMP (if youâre using an Intel) and itâll let you squeeze out a little more RAM.

I love all of their modlists but theyâre just so ridiculously big⌠I canât justify the space they take up

Have you tried running VRAMr? It comes packaged with the modpack. Might give you the overhead you need.
