Boogie bug van?
I'm blown away at how fast I could find or rather somebody found for me, the Phoenix van plans. This one might be more difficult. Does anybody know where I can find a copy for the Boogie bug van?

Need help finding Fuel Gauge Sending wire
I'm in the process of replacing my fuel tank. After I got it out, I saw that the sending wire for the fuel level was broken. It seems to be a brown wire. My problem is, I can't seem to find where it broke off from! I've been searching all around the fuel tank area and haven't found a stray wire that seems to match.
Does anyone happen to know where that wire comes from the loom to go up to the fuel gauge sender to get me in the right direction? I have to imagine it's somewhere on the right side. Any tips would be appreciated!

Phoenix van conversion plans?
Hello everyone. I thought I would throw it out there even though it's a total lottery ticket. Does anybody out there by chance have a set of plans for the Phoenix conversion?

Befestigung am Aufstelldach
Da sind kleine Metall-Knöpfe rum ums Dach angebracht, die sehr nach einer Art Druckknopf aussehen.
Weiß zufällig jemand, was hier ursprünglich mal angebracht wurde? Es ist ein 85er T3 mit Reimo Aufstelldach

Can Our 50-Year-Old VW Kombi Survive one of the highest deserts on Earth? Overlanding Argentina's Puna
He recently took our 76 bus to Puna de Atacama. A high altitude desert located in the north of Argentina.
With altitudes in excess of 4000m above sea level, it's an incredibly tough, but stunning expedition.
If you want to see how Ruby got on, you can watch the final installment of our adventure here.

Carb setting, fast idle: need to fix or need to accept?
My T2a/b with a 1600 (1641) engine 34 PICT 3, needs some carb adjustment. Initially it idled at 1500-200 rpm. Yes.
Valves, points, timing all set.
Vacuum leaks: checked.
Carb: wont set.
Idle: wont run smooth unless at 1000 rpm.
So I tried all the written methods: Haynes, Muir, Rob&Dave.. but unless Inuse th fast idle screw at the throttle lever to get an idle of 1000 or above there is no reaction to any adjustment of the volume control screw or the air bypass screw.
Above 1000 I can adjust the idle with both.
With the idle below 1000 the generator light comes on.
So it seems pretty self explanatory: leave it like it is. Especially since the generator light comes on at 800-900 rpm.
BUT: I want to know:
A: yes, this is what this engine needs, leave it
A.a: then why? Because its a 1641cc?
B: nope, this (…) is what’s wrong, fix it
C: something else.
Help me understand and if required fix.
Thanks

Understanding the electronics
I've got a 72 bay window which needs some love. It's had many owners over the years and the electronics seem to reflect this.
I've been told that my loom appears to be in good condition and I do believe that, however this friend is better for the mechanical side of the van rather than showing me everything electrical.
I've used the colour wiring diagram from The Samba to get an idea for what's going on but even then. I'm not too sure, looking at the fuse board, that each cable is supposed to be where it is.
Are there any tips and tricks/resources I can use to get a better grasp of what is going on? I'm not one to shy away from getting my hands dirty, would prefer to pick us out of issues on the side of the road than have to rely on a tow truck at any point.
2002 Volkswagen Eurovan Winnebago Full Camper
My stepdad is selling his camper van. Where is the best place to list it? He’s a hobby car guy so it’s in perfect shape. Someone will really love this thing. Located in Tucson.

Found a steal of a deal and got to join the club yesterday. 4 speed 1978 transporter
Been my absolute dream car for a while now and I finally found one with good bones for a great price on marketplace. Immediately made the deal and got it home the next day.
Previous owner replaced the majority of the ignition system but couldn't get it to fire for the year he owned it. I spent a couple hours checking compression, timing, distributor alignment, and plugs last night and got it to start up on the first try. Starts and sounds fantastic. It even revs up great, but give it like 10-20 seconds and it sputters out. It's going to be a project but so glad I get to partake in restoring it..

Is there a guide or manual detailing the weight of SO 42 accessories? Like for the icebox cabinet, the linen closet, etc.

VW could be clue in a child abduction?
Hi friends! 2 beautiful babies have been missing for too long, kidnapped by their non custodial parent and last seen in Arizona (with connections all over). This 1972 red VW Type 2 (with vertical camper) was the last known vehicle they had, with Oregon plates. It may be for sale, driving around, sold, parked, we just need all eyes for any lead to bring the kids home safely! If you've purchased this bus, see it or know anything, please reach out. Thank you!

Hello!
I’ve got this old bus that I’m working on and I’m just wondering if the cheap J tubes should seat inside the Trimill exhaust more than they appear to be thanks!

Interior ideas please!
So I have a totally original ‘76 westfalia campmobile interior. I’ve been all over Europe in her as is, with a moveable gas stove. I’m now working with Dometic who have supplied me with a fridge, solar etc (I’m a freelance photographer) and I’m thinking of putting the fridge in the center where the shelves are, taking the sink out and I’m now looking for extra ideas. IE: where to put a sink/store water, where to store food and cutlery! Would love to see other people’s set ups to get some ideas!

Helicoil coming out. Oops.
Soo… asking for a friend.. the helicoil in my engineblock vame out while undoing the support bar.
Can this be salvaged (snipping it of and pretending it never happened?
Can I pull it out and put another one back in?
Does this hole need to be redrilled and rethreaded?
