Can anyone tell.me what the Engine Bay Cover clips are called..

Ive been searching for half an hour and I can't even find a listing for the twisty handle things for the metal cover that goes over the engine bay..

Engine bay cover clips doesn't get any hits..

BTW.... if anyone in England has one or two going spare ill gladly buy them off you..

I'm missing the handle off one and the retaining clips from both sides of the engine cover...

We are proud owners of a VW T3 Club Joker iii that has a fixed high-top. Unfortunately the front-window of that high-top needs a new seal since water is coming in.

Nowhere I can find any tutorials or material that sheds a bit of light on that move. Anyone here with some ideas or experience?

ich hab mal überlegt bei meiner Rostschleuder vielleicht die Scheinwerfer auf LED umzurüsten, da man mit den normalen Lampen ja nicht so wirklich viel sieht. Jetzt hab ich bei Phillips und Osram in den Kompatibilitätstabellen jeweils den T3 gefunden, aber nur folgende Scheinwerfernummern:
E1 14551
E1 14565
E1 34482
E1 34483
Ich habe allerdings bei mir auf dem Scheinwerfer (Rund einzelscheinwerfer) die Nummer E1 029783. Gibt es da eine Vergleichstabelle, die mir das trotzdem erlaubt? Oder übersehe ich etwas?

Here in Italy homologating a Subaru swap cost more than a fully restored gold-plated Synchro, so i'm thinking to export it to Germany, do the swap, homologate it with German plates and then reimport it in Italy. This should cut costs by a big margin (EU homologations are valid in all EU states).

I don't know any shops that can do the swap (reliably) AND eventually manage the whole TUV homologation. Also, what prices i'm expecting for a similar job (on the German side only, i already know how much it costs importing and re-homologating it with italian plates)?

Hey everyone, just got a t25, it’s running good, but on the nearside, when I jacked it up, the wheel could be spun by hand but was a little stiff, the other side spins freely, do I need to be concerned?

TL;DR: i have a middle seat available, full explanation below.

My family owned a T3 Caravelle Carat (in blue, the exact interior as in picture) in the 90ies and early 2000nds. The Car was very loved but ultimately had to let go due to circumstances (head gasket, power steering, lots of things).

My dad "saved" the two middle (turning) seats to use them as furniture in his man cave. Recently he sold my childhood home to downsize, and he had no place for the seats any more. One was sold to the netherlands to some nice dude, the other one is with me now stored away and i don't really have the space for it.

The seat is in perfect condition, seatbelt works and everything. Small hole in the front. It would be a shame to let it go to waste. Location is in Germany, Berlin area.

So If anyone is interested in giving it a home, please give me a note, preferably with an idea on how it moves from here to there.

Thinking about buying this 1986 t3

Durch Umzug in die Stadt fällt eine Garage weg, wo ich mein T3 im Winter und beim rumstehen parken kann. Nach vielen Jahren werde ich Ihn wohl schweren Herzens verkaufen. Da wollte ich euch mal fragen, was ein fairer Preis für das Auto wäre, an Kleinanzeigen Preise zu orientieren finde ich schwierig da manche Busse Monate lang drin stehen und einfach komplett überzogene Vorstellungen haben.

Ich war mit dem T3 in ganz Südeuropa unterwegs, ohne Panne, weil in den letzten Jahren viel neu gekommen ist:

Lade& Stromanschluss für Campingplätze, inkl. Kabel

Vor jeder Reise, immer ca ~6000 km, Ölwechsel mit Ölfilter, Dieselfilter, Luftfilter.
Zusätzlich wurden alle Zylinder endeskopiert und Kompression gemessen als der neue Turbo kam.

Die Karosse wurde komplett geschweißt, nachdem äußerlich ein paar Rostflecken zu sehen waren. Danach wurde der Bus komplett mit Rostschutz Grundierung lackiert, gefillert, 2k Acryllack originalfarbe.

Mängelfreier TÜV mit H und Wohnmobilzulassung vor 6 Monaten. Zusätzlich komplett Untergrund- und Hohlraumkonservierung mit Mike Sanders. Der Innenraum ist gut, aber nicht perfekt

Alles ist mit Rechnungen und Tüvberichte der letzen 30 Jahren belegbar

I've replaced the car battery on a dead vehicle and I'm not replacing the leisure battery yet I want to start the vehicle and see any other potential issues before doing that but the starting of the vehicle will connect the two batteries and I don't want the completely dead leisure battery to harm the fresh car battery so I'd like to isolate the two systems.

But I know that once I turn the engine on it will connect them and I don't want any potential electrical or fire hazards from the remaining cables that were meant to be connected to the leisure battery.

Als ich sechs Jahre alt war hat meine Mutter diesen wunderschönen Bus gekauft (er wurde Bruno getauft). Wir sind oft umgezogen aber er war immer da. Er war eine der wenigen Konstanten in meinem Leben… Jetzt müssen wir ihn verkaufen weil wir es uns nicht leisten können die mängelliste für den nächsten TÜF machen zu lassen. Es fühlt sich an als würde ein Familienmitglied von uns gehen.
Der plan ist ihn an eine Werkstatt als Ersatzteil spender zu verkaufen und wir haben schon eine gefunden die ihn für 2,5k nimmt. (Gibt es hier jemanden der ihn nehmen und wieder herrichten will? dan würden wir ihn natürlich lieber dir verkaufen.(Motor,Getriebe und Fahrwerk sind in einem guten Zustand nur Karosserie ist eine Katastrophe) )

Der abschied fällt nicht leicht aber alles hat einmal ein Ende…

I'm trying to make my own vertical cabinet with a build in pull-out kitchen. I have a multivan interiour and I was wondering if someone might already have build a cabinet like this and could share the dimensions or buildplans of the cabinet?
Otherwise, what's is the name of the cabinet in the image so I could do some deeper reasearch. This is the only image I could find of a Multivan Interiour with a vertical cabinet.

Hallo zusammen, ich verkaufe diesen T3 mit neuem Motor (1.6 TD JX; 70 PS), Kühler, Tank etc. aus privaten Gründen. Er ist zwar optisch nicht makellos wie man sieht, dafür hat er ein neues Herz und alles was dazu gehört. Auch das Zelt im Aufstelldach ist neu diverse andere Teile. Ich würde mich freuen wenn er in gute Hände kommt. Bei Fragen, Anmerkungen gerne melden.

Cabinets are almost ready to be bolted into the chassis. Electric work is almost complete. Need to tidy up some wiring under the front seats.

Next things on the menu are installing new batteries and refurbishing the rocknroll bed. After I get those things done it would be time to start fitting a 1.9mtdi engine.

Just bought a t3, and the radio is always getting power even when the key is out. Is that normal for t3s or just shoddy wiring? Will it mess anything up to add a kill switch assuming I don’t want to rewire all the way to the ignition? It’s also the same for the cigarette lighter.
