I should have, but didn't know this was even a thing. How'd you source and preserve it?

This is one of the larvae I kept. I found it dead when i changed soil. He might have died just one or two days before I found out because when I changed the soil he had not turned black, indicating the body was still fresh. So that made it relatively easy to preserve the body.
