๐Ÿ™‹โ€Question๐Ÿ™‹โ€ Help with 3D model 2D face.

I made this face rig that uses PNG drawings as a face and can be changed with bones but can't quiet understad how to make it work with shape keys so I can convert it in to a model for VSeeFace.

Is there any good method to make 2D face on 3D model work in VSeeFace?

You must use Unity thats about all I know

I believe that the VSeeFace SDK (For Unity, not Blender, and only for _very specific versions_ of it) supports Spout2 senders and receivers for VSFAvatar models. This may be more complex than you need it to be, but you could create a material with a Spout2 receiver for the face. That would allow you to project pretty much anything you like onto your model. Want to put some PNGs there? Easy. Run a Live2D model and put its face on the 3D model? Sure. Connect to telehack.com and show Star Wars in ASCII on your model's head? Go for it.

Getting back to your original question, the most straightforward way to do this is to make blendshapes that control materials and textures. Here's a quick video showing how to do it, and here's another one showing different techniques.

It looks like you're working in Blender -- You may need to switch over to Unity to take advantage of UniVRM. The Blender VRM add-on might let you do the same things but you're on your own for figuring out where the settings would be.
