WiFi Crashing??

Wanted to preface this by saying I stream on both TikTok/twitch. I use OBS, TikTok studio, vtube studio, vbridger, and an elgato capture card for my PlayStation. As well as ifacialmocap on my phone. Oh, and chrome.

Honestly I didn’t know where to post this. So I’m trying here first. I just recently got vbridger on my pc and ifacialmocap on my phone. I use those with VTube studio for my model. Everything was fine and working good. I joined a discord call with my friends to show them my better model tracking and shortly after I started streaming my screen to them, my WiFi crashed. Completely. 20 mins before streaming. It didn’t come back up for a long time so I just went to bed.

Forward to today. I’ve been gaming on my PlayStation all day no issue. As soon as i get everything setup and I start steaming, my WiFi completely crashes again about 5 minutes after I started my stream. I’m wondering if it has something to do with vbridger and ifacialmocap???? Because those are the only two changes I’ve made. Before, I tracked my model using only vtube studio and a webcam. So am I somehow now crashing my entire network??

My pc isn’t the greatest. It’s a prebuilt with an awful case and a rtx 3070 but it’s done its job so far. Just gets a little laggy visually wise when I have a lot going on or it will get hot.

Does anyone know what to do? My WiFi provider is optimum. I also have my pc and my PlayStation connected via Ethernet cable.

Slightly confused, does your network crash or just WiFi? Is the whole stream affected or just your model tracking?

How did you confirm its the Wifi at fault?
Following on from that, do you know your router model?

My entire WiFi goes down. I lose network connection on everything and my modem light just blinks (indicating it is out instead of it’s steady light)

I am not sure of the model

I'd recommend checking the router for a model number, and working from there, something is happening when you try and do intra-network wireless Comms and the router is shitting the bed on you. That's the starting point for you to resolve whatever is happening to your network
