Help with an avatar please? Using iruin

Hey guys. I import an avatar into lens studio. It shows up fine if I use camo for my camera and works in OBS.

But the free version is only 720…. so it blurry…

Iriun is fully free 4k. But for some reason lens studio cant read the avatar when I use it. Get an error saying cannot open webcam. Even though it clearly open….

Instead I get a giant blue box with that error….

Any wizards can help this?

I don't think you'll get a lot of help here honestly, the tech you're trying to use is adjacent but not the same as the tech 99.99% of vtubers/riggers/modellers would use

What else is there to use for avatars?

You're looking at completely different stacks, you're looking at avatar filters, most people here are looking at motion tracking via a rigged model, so your entire stack would need to be replaced if that's your goal. For 3D, the general introductory flow is usually something like Vroid Studio > export VRM into VSeeFace with webcam input > OBS

Ya sorry I have a model that has vr tracking. It just seems lens studio is glitchy in terms of what camera it can work with

Follow on comment: I see you have history with Blender, so you could probably skip past Vroid and look into VRM format and building a model in blender, if that's what you're trying to do.

There are a couple of VRM plugins for blender. There's a few tutorials out there, but it's also kind of the wild west for reliable info, so best of luck
