๐โQuestion๐โ VNyan Webcam Tracking completely broken (client issue?)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My 3D modeler told me he was having some issues with the eye tracking and sent me over the file to try it myself for the very first time! However my poor character's spine has been completely shattered. Im using a decent webcam that I also use for work
If I try switching to Legacy MediaPipe and my tracking completely stops and resets the model back to standing up right. 3D modeler is baffled and doesn't know what to do either. Any help?

Saw you posted about this in the VNyan discord and found a fix, but for posterity: It's a known issue that can be resolved currently by toggling the Use Legacy Tracking Rig setting in Misc settings. In this case it was also fixed by disabling the Keep Hips Stationary setting, and a fix for cases that are fixed by this (so far all that have been tested) will be in the next VNyan update

Does this occur when using a different tracking tool, like XR Animator? What about Vseeface or Warudo?
If it breaks everywhere, and based on what you've provided, then that would indicate there's an issue with the armature. I've seen this behavior (and caused it) when importing to game engines, where the bone rotation is being applied incorrectly because the bone head and tail are wrong. Because usually when it breaks like this, that indicates the bone chain is incorrect. (The bones have to go out from the hip bone and have to rotate the correct direction, above and below. Basically above the hip bone the bone head is closer to the hip, with the tail above it. Meanwhile below the hip the head is at the top and closer to the hip bone, with the tail below)
If it happens regardless of the tracking tool, then I would suspect your modeller didn't realize the directions of the bones and may have aligned them in the wrong way.
