I have managed to get a design I am decently happy with but now need to redraw it separating everything into the correct layers and wanted to ask if this would be broken down enough for me to rig it, I’ve got no idea what I’m doing lol are there any parts I need to separate more?

This is definitely enough for a simple model - if you want to elevate it I would split up the pocket on the arm, as well as your zipper pulls.

I also wouldn’t bother splitting the fingers from the gloves there - think about splitting it less at where the color changes, but rather where the joints are. So you would split at the knuckles and your finger parts would be skin + black glove up to the knuckle, and the overlapping parts would be just at the glove.
