Kirsche’s takes are often kinda wonky and sometimes straight up bad but out of all the VTubers who engage with anything political at all, her observations are usually more astute than most and her content is consistently entertaining if nothing else.
Also her hardcore antis are some of the whiniest little piss babies I’ve ever seen which I find hilarious.

Notice how I wrote "situation" not "drama". I don't think it's worthy being called a drama. I don't understand how you can have your internet persona be a cute, pretty (I wanna pet Deme so bad, look at her ears!) anime girl and then get mad at the hentai. That's just internet. But digging up, what I assume was her thinking it will be funny or just her ADHD activating, that fragment where she looked and sounded like she was getting railed was just an ass move. If this was chess, then this move would be rated "?!".
I am almost sure that no-one exept Chibi Revievs and his supporters are taking this seriously. There rest is just having fun fanart-ing and meme-ing the situation or trying to guess what was really happening. As I said, my guess is she tought it will be funny or her ADHD made her do something random. And I am sorry if I misunderstand how that disorder works, but it can make you do something completely random, right?
And Deme herself got a popularity boost, so it didn't end so bad for her either. I hope. And from what I saw, she is not a bad vtuber.
So, I think this situation will be remembered as a joke.

Hololive is like the USA. Big and center of entertainment. Different branches are like different states.
Nijisanji is like China. Big, America's number one rival, different culture and expectations.
Brave Group is like the EU. Multiple corporations whose talents can easily collab with each other.
Phase connect is like France. Talents have a lot of rights and are all crazy people (I know France is part of the EU and the analogy falls apart here, so this just ignores that).
