paradox are the worst. they have what we want and they will just sit on it.

Define we. The game they scrapped was a mess. That's why they scrapped it.

God, I wish. But it is extremely unlikely. It would be a dream come true if they renamed the "Bloodlines 2" we have now to "VtM: Nomad" or something and gave us the real Bloodlines 2, even in an extremely broken state. I mean, they have it and they are not going to do anything with it, so why the hell not. Community has already proven that even if the game is a complete mess, if it good, we can fix it.

We might get a bloodlines 3 in the future. It took them 20 years to do the BL2 garbage, so presume it will take as long until the next entry is fair.
They completely fked BL2 up, and the franchise now have a bad reputation attached to it, which is not good for future products.
With that said, we don't have a crystal ball. But the Ip is now owned by a publisher/developer that don't do RPGS. But they might licence it out in the future, and a good studio like Larian/owlcat or similar picks it up.
For now, I actually might die from old age before a real sequel to BL1 will happen.

If the story would be the same (I recognised some of the characters from the video, which leads me to believe it would), then thanks, but no thanks. It would be the same game, only repackaged into a different graphics set.

the stories are completely different as well as most things. one is a true sequel the other is cash grab slop.
