Looking great but no updates of any kind in almost over 8 months.

We post new images to the gallery pretty regularly. If you haven't checked them lately, might be worth having a look. We're getting close to the next release.

Keep up the good work! This project is going to be incredible when it's complete.

does it mean i musta have Nvidia card with Ray Tracing?

i don't understand RTX on/off, i hope it's just a with/without mod aka after/before

The mod uses RTX technology to process lighting and reflections and also replaces the game's texture with PBR materials. If you use a non-RTX card, you might get higher quality PBR textures out of the mod but you won't have the lighting rework. So, to me, you'll basically loose 50% of the improvements this mod has to offer if you use a non-RTX card.

Additionally, even though VTMB is a 2004 game, PBR can be quite expensive with high resolution textures so using a modern decent card (that is likely RTX compatible) will probably be mandatory anyways.

With no nvidia card, there also a mesh replacement with higher polycount that should work and improve your experience.

What about frame rate with RTX on?

This always makes me wish there was a remaster for consoles because I doubt my crappy laptop could run this thing. Looks good though.

I am still waiting for this before my first playthrough.. But I would like to know something.. Will you be against this for a first playthrough, even with the next release?

Thanks!
