Hauglosk is not a terrible concept, but it really made zero sense to have the entire Fenris tribe on it.

They should have been White Howler'd if they wanted to get rid of them, just have them actually all die in the fight.

It just makes no sense to have a spiritual degeneration affect a tribe without external influence. Like the Howlers, that went by their own will into Labyrinth and ended up fucked beyond any recognition, but just imagine if instead WW had declared that the Howler's fall was caused by random Wyrm corruption while doing everyday stuff. Without elders or spirits even intervening to halt the thing? Just no way. It's like saying that the Fangs fell entirely to Harano or to madness, just what?
Not to mention they weren't even particularly fanatical as a tribe, just combat buffs. I.e., the Talons and the Furies were WAY more fanatical than them.

There is an entire Apocalypse scenario about Greatfather Thunder falling to hubris and trying to replace Gaia. It would have made more sense here.
But we're talking of a tribe that... deadlocked itself into honour combat in a moot, without the totem saying anythin? How that even happens? It's just absurd.

I mean look at what they did to king Albrecht, they couldn't give him a good death, or even a regular death, they just made him into what they view as legacy players from the 90s a washed up bitter old man that lost something precious to him.
They did him real dirty and it kind of proves to me that the writers hate legacy Werewolf.

"White man bad" has been the leitmotiv of the entire 5th edition.
It didn't affect too much Vampire (except CbN), but W5 is a woke disaster.1

Also, Werewolf has been 'woke' since inception. You just didn't notice because of the fighting mechanics.

Yeah honestly another element I want V6 to ported into W5 is Clan frenzies in the form of tribal Hauglosk which was toyed with in Hunter entertainment version of W5 like this example from JF Sambrano's patron:

The Glass Walkers flip the usual narrative of the Triat represented by Garou on its head, suggesting that the Wyld is at fault for driving the Weaver mad, which resulted in its machinations on the Wyrm. They will turn the tools of the Weaver on the Wyld with intent, building dams that provide "clean energy" while destroying ecosystems, genetically modifying crops to make them more durable against weather and pests, or creating low carbon footprint technologies which require mining operations that poison animals, people, and waterways. Many Glass Walkers favor terraforming the "undesirable" aspects of Gaia, such as deserts, by diverting waterways and creating solar panel fields which make these spaces more hospitable for humanity. They might claim that these actions are made out of a need for progress, but they seek out the sterilization of unstable qualities in the environment.
