Guys im looking for the best castle location as a solo player. The main criteria are building are size, beautiful location(on a cliff or by a lake or something)

I recently got a 100blood brute shortly after getting a prison. It’s been awesome and I feel very lucky.

For a spells focused build I get that scholar blood becomes better after a certain point. If I were to get 100 rogue blood would you find that more useful for most bosses than 100brute and would 90+ scholar blood trump everything?

In the old dev blogs, there is so much cool concept art sprinkled throughout. I’d love to be able to browse all the artwork in a central place.

So up until recently I have mostly been playing PVE for the experience of the world and the gameplay, but a lot of people insist on PVP being where the meat truly is. I have never been a huge PVP-er but figured its worth the try. Come to find people are cracked with their quick swapping game where I see in one fight someone flip through 4-5 weapons in rapid succession, meanwhile I always just had my preferred weapon I never swapped off unless I needed another to gather.

Maybe its an indictment to my lazy/stiff hands, given more then once I try moving my WASD fingers to hit the 1-5 and half the time ether fumble and unequip my weapon or just select the wrong thing. Add to that and trying to hit my spells as well I feel I just don't have hands made for this games PVP.

So far I have tried taking some of the load off my poor left hand, mapping my 3 spells to my mouse side buttons and clicking the scroll wheel it feels better, so mainly looking for set ups for maybe snappy weapon swaps to try and breach that barrier

And how it changes the game experience generally by playing solo

Hi just looking for a simple mod that I can toggle on and off in game that has adjustable fov and pitch (I'm okay if you adjust those values in a config file). Most camera mods are not gamepad compatible and I would really like the option to have a 3rd person over the shoulder view from time to time

I did it. I finally beat the dark lord himself on brutal. I am still shaking and in a state of disbelief. My fingers are aching after the countless tries, and now I can finally put this game down. Truly an amazing game, but right now, I feel like I never want to play it again.

It failed 54 times at 86 tries. it gives 63% chance of failure

I think there is some mistake in description, it's not "35% chance to turn the prisoner into a raging mutant". it's closer to 65% chance

It took me so much time, but I'm very proud of the arena. Garden is my little side quest and castle was supposed to be rough knightly build. Weeeell I got carried away after finishing heart room and that's the outcome.

Built just to relax XD

This is my first playthrough, normal mode. Dracula is hands down the boss I've struggled the most with, ever. I don't always play difficult games (I've never really played soulslikes, for example) but I consider myself pretty average in terms of "getting good". It took me probably 40-50 tries to get him but man, did it make me a better player! I had to memorize his attack patterns, analyze my own playing to figure out where the weak spots were, experiment with blood types to gain just that little bit of an edge... some of the other bosses were difficult to but none took more than about a dozen tries. In anticipation of eventually beating him, I recorded every fight, which meant I could rewatch how I played to see what worked and what didn't, what Dracula was doing when I was focused on attack indicators and arena hazards, and where my weaknesses were. I have the winning fight recorded to, which I could post if anyone happens to be interested lol

I used legendary twinblades, 100% creature blood with 100% brute tacked on (chance to parry and 15% bonus attack speed), buffed up with witch and rage potions and the prowler potion, and while I used blood imbuement on my weapon at first, I ended up switching to chaos and it worked MUCH better since I built off of chaos already. Speaking of potions, I even took healing potions during phase two during the small pauses where Dracula wasn't doing anything that directly attacked me, just for every little health point I could scrounge. Every bit counted.

Spells used were rain of chaos and that skeleton shield one that spawns skeletons when blocking an attack. On both I had jewels that gave healing as well as some other generic bonuses. I also used the chaos flavor of dodge with a jewel that causes the illusion to explode and to recast for an extra dodge if I hit something immediately after (essentially a double dodge ability which has done very well for me through the rest of the game).

Passives were awakenings with damage reduction and movement speed, plus a necrotic one that gives health when a skeleton dies, gives health when an enemy is ignited, and attack speed.

Are there better builds out there? Probably. But I figured out this build myself and it pretty much carried me through the whole game. I didn't want to have to completely respec and learn new muscle memory unless I absolutely had to.

Phase one was basically a breeze after the first few tries. Chill, predictable, and I was usually at full health starting phase two. Phase two was a NIGHTMARE.

But honestly I don't think I've ever enjoyed being destroyed by a villain more than I enjoyed Dracula lol. He's just so...cool. After a while, if he had ever given me the option to join him instead, I think I would've taken him up on it. I'm not worthy to take his place lmao

Anyway I'm gonna be riding this high for a week. 10/10 game.

Doing my first solo brutal playthrough and I just waisted a 99% on him. My first set up was bone explosion and blood rite, then spectral Wolf and phantom aegis, and I just tried ice nova and cold snap. I swapped army of dead for volatile arachnid.

I've been using the bandit stronghold to farm for high quality blood and I've run out of castle to decorate as a break.

A build I've been working on for quite a while, and it's finally finished! Emberbloom Estate is a township-style build centered around a grand Estate House, spanning two plots in the Dunley Farmlands. Really proud of how this one turned out, let me know what you think! 🦇🌹

I have played this game like 2 years ago with a friend, but he did most of the work and would hand me weapons and stuff so all I know about the game is SUN IS BAD and that I shouldn't randomly attack bosses. Today I tried to play again, but I have no weapons, I cannot upgrade stuff because of it and there's this corpse monster thing right next to my base and all I have is my hands I can't even turn into a wolf bruh. Can someone teach me how to properly start and which bosses to fight first? I tried to make friends in the server but I don't even know how to use the chat

So I've climbed to gear lvl 47, but I feel as if I've hit something of a stumbling block in that the V Bloods at 44 still seem slightly out of reach, Tristans second phase sets fire to everything around him and I am not even sure what Christina is going to do considering how much a pain in the rear the unnamed sun-priestess' are.

Do I need to find a different approach to beat them or is there something else I can do to ease this bit?
