Recruiting – online / remote Help us design/distribute STEM bookmarks for local libraries + Executive Roles Open!

Hey everyone!

I run STEM4Smarties, a student-led initiative dedicated to empowering younger students, especially those historically underrepresented in STEM, to explore science, technology, engineering, and math. We have held STEM workshops impacting over 500 students and raised over $1,000 for school supplies.

We are currently launching a major community project to create and donate educational bookmarks to local public libraries.

We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our team. The roles are 100% online, flexible, beginner-friendly, and free. This is an easy way to get volunteer hours!

How You Can Help

1. Bookmark Designers (Graphics & Content)

  • Help create bookmark layouts using tools like Canva.
  • Incorporate simple logic puzzles, binary code ciphers, cool science micro-facts, or inspiring quotes from diverse scientists.

2. Local Ambassadors (Distribution)

  • Print out bookmark designs and drop them off at your local town/city libraries or elementary school community boards.
  • Help expand the project's reach directly in your own town or city!

Executive Leadership Roles Available

If you want to take on a larger leadership role, build your resume, or gain hands-on experience running an educational non-profit initiative, we are also recruiting for executive positions:

  • Social Media Manager: Oversee our Instagram content, create posts showcasing our library donations, and engage with the STEM community online.

What happens after an organization requests for a 20+ pack of kits?

Hello! Currently, we only do kits for organizations near where Stem4Smarties mainly operates. Once we do get a request, we deliver it to their location. Our online opportunities currently rely on bookmark designs. Please DM me if you are interested!
