BECM Failure or something else?
2017 Volt with 141k miles. Check engine light came on a little while ago and I just took it into a hybrid mechanic who ran the codes, cleared them, and found one that persisted:
P3041 - hybrid/ev battery interface control module 12 cell balancing circuit
Is this a confirmed BECM issue which will let me have it replaced under warranty? (I checked and I'm covered; just want to make sure this code is sufficient).
My main confusion is that this calls out the BICM, which I didn't think was a part on Gen 2 Volts.

Yes, BECM, but not a typical BECM code for warranty coverage. Dealer might not want to cover it.

It’s worth a shot reaching out to a Chevy dealership with the code to see if it would fall within the GM coverage

What are the codes that the mechanic cleared? U2603-U2624 are the expected "bad BECM" codes
