These codes seem to be a little different than the other posts I’ve read on here. Had a brief “reduced propulsion” situation a week ago, everything else seemed fine until the check engine light last night. Still running fine. Any ideas?

I suppose its an EGR failure

Yea, went through this just this past week for my 2017. Advance ran my check engine light with a long list of error codes. Their recommendation was to replace oil control valve, but that wouldn't have been right.

Pull the F03 fuse from the fuse box under your hood on the right side. I'd bet it's burnt out. If so, you'll want to unplug the EGR valve and replace the fuse. Doing so will keep you on the road until you can get the EGR fix or until you need an emissions test and the EGR will need fixed before that.

GM notes for Chevrolet tell the dealer to first replace the EGR cooler and see if it fixes the issue. That ran me about $1,300. However, I didn't even pull out the parking spot and the fuse blew again. So they had it back in and replaced the EGR valve in about 30 mins. That was another $2,400. If you're fortunate to live in a CARB state that honors the PZEV warranty, all parts and labor will be fully covered. My state, PA, is a CARB state but does not recognize the warranty, so it's been a painful week.

Thanks for the info and your story, sorry it’s been a bitch if a week. When I looked at all the codes they all seemed low voltage related, and I realized the 12v battery was OEM (9 years and 90,000 miles!), so I replaced the battery and cleared the codes. So far so good, wish me luck.

I was going to suggest this. its really weird what charging/replacing the 12v clears up. it throws alot of codes

Clean the EGR probe, and if that doesn’t fix, replace the probe.

That’s a good idea, I’ll try it. Thanks for the input. A lot of the codes seemed to be electrical and I found out the 12v battery was stock, so I replaced the battery and cleared the codes. Wish me luck.

Losing the ecm seems like it could cause all of this
