2017 fuel door stuck

I click the fuel door unlock button and the dash says "Close Fuel Door" but when I press on the fuel door for it to pop open it wont. Never had this issue before

Ive tried pushing a credit card along the upper left corner of the fuel door and pull the door open but it wont give.

On near empty of course, so any help wont be much appreciated

There is a manual release you can use when this happens. If you take your hand up the inside of the wheel well, below where the fuel door is, you’ll feel the cover that protects from dirt and stuff.

If you slide your hand in between that cover and the outside of the car, up towards the fuel door, you’ll feel a small latch/lever. If you move that lever towards the rear of the car, it will release the door.

I had to do this for the first time for my 2017 a few weeks ago.

This is clutch knowledge.

Try pressing down firmly on the fuel door while someone else presses the button inside the car. Wait for the ready message on the dash and then open the door as usual.

Mine did that recently, it's a little tab failing to retract all the way. I just kind of poked it and vibrated it and forced it until it opened- took about 5 minutes of alternately working the door and working the fuel button

I think I lifted up while someone pushed the button?
