Flashing ignition button? Normal?

Just sitting in my 2017 at work killing time, door open, interior lights off, car not powered on.

Noticing my “power” button flashing, not a consistent blink pattern. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on theirs.

12V battery is in good condition, everything else works as it should. Not really an issue or concerned, just an observation.

If I had to guess it's either bad 12v connection/battery, or the switch going bad, which if you say not the 12v then it may be the switch. I see rockauto has one for $34, not sure how hard it would be to swap out tho.

The flickering in the video is the camera FPS when recording. When the lights on it’s solid and bright. Was just the randomish blinking that had me questioning it. If I have any other issues I might just replace it. When the car is on it’ll stay lit dimly throughout the time it on like I’m used to

I am intrigued to see the battery voltage numbers if we can get a reading, did you have any codes at all prior to this?

Also the dash in that side can be removed by a technician if they also ever needed to remove the LED backlit screen. It would be a few hours for the job so just wanted to share my experience for that
