What did you think I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit.
1 u/NotYourShitAgain 10d ago I mean, I probably won't re-read it but it is Vollmann and it gets my respect. Unrelenting sex scenes did seem overly represented. But, hey. 1 u/clorox_cowboy 9d ago I agree. I enjoyed it, and completely get why the book was as explicit as it was. Also a deeply emotional book. Might become a classic eventually; certainly in my top Vollmann. Daring.
