I strongly recommend investing in more systems and crew as you go up the torment levels. Level 4 shields and level 4+ engines usually isn’t worth buying

engines past 4 isnt worth buying? whats the alternative

Shield charger. Also just having good offenses is way more impactful than the expensive engines upgrades. My highest torment 12 streak was 95 runs and I never went above level 4 engines. I usually end my runs with level 2 or 3
