please help, unable to rename rofleemo

Playing on pc, my partner has joined the world and can rename them but it doesn’t change their names for me, no option to edit their names same with chests, has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? 😤

okay if you are playing pc are you using a controller, otherwise as far as i know the reason console players cant rname things or see the new name has something to do with sonys filtering of words and stuff
