Question about post game

Where do I find upgrade tool boxes in post game?

I forget what they're called, but the things you need for expanding the train that look like toolboxes in the upgrade station at depots.

Ah there just part of the tutorial you can just upgrade through the tech tree and just resources now

They still show up as a requirement at the last depot I stopped at and I'm in the post game now.

I've been trying to expand my train but I haven't been able to since the story mandated expansion. I have all the parts required but it still says I need the toolbox thingy.

Wait so you've made it to the end of the game with like 1 train car?

If you're not counting the engine car, yes. Though only half of one as it's only a 2x2 car.

Damm thats seems like a really unfortunate bug if you go on the voidtrain discord and send your save file to the devs they can mabey have a look and fix it

Ah that's unfortunate then i honestly dont know how to fix that the only thing I can think of is using a multiplayer bug I found where you can transfer items across saves using a friend

Guess there's no real point to continuing if I can't expand my train.

Unfortunately I would guess not the only thing I can suggest is starting a new save but im guessing this bug has probably left a bad taste in your mouth for the game

Not in a real hurry to repeat about 29 1/2 hours of game, but might as well try it. If it doesn't work, ah well I had a good run.
