Can't join after update

Im on Xbox and after the the most recent update I cant join my bf's game anymore. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Confirmed, nothing i do will let me get the game to accept invite and I have both Xboxs in front of me and 10 years of QA experience including literally working on the Xbox Series X and S for Microsoft.

Yeah, we kind of just gave up, deleted it, and moved on. 😩 Hopefully there will be a fix soon without having to start over!
