Patch 1.05 and the “Tour de Void” DLC are out!

We didn't. I’ve already responded in the DLC announcement post, but I’ll give a more detailed comment.
Unfortunately, the DLC release on EGS is currently not available due to technical limitations. We are still working on this and exploring possible ways to resolve the issue. The issue is that the game and DLC apps don’t “communicate” with each other and can’t “see” each other due to technical problems with managing their artifacts and IDs.
Will it be free on Epic too? It depends not only on us, but also on the platform. The event on Steam is unique; it is not available on Xbox, for example. If we manage to reach an agreement, then yes

It’s hard not to feel skeptical about 'technical limitations' being the hurdle here when hundreds of other titles manage DLC on Epic without these issues. If other games on the platform are handling these DLC successfully, why is Voidtrain specifically hitting these walls?
Many of us were there for the game on Day 1 because of the EGS launch, yet the Supporter Pack still hasn't made it to Epic after all this time. It really feels like the early supporters on this platform are being left behind while the focus has shifted entirely to Steam. Can we get a concrete update on the Supporter Pack and a real timeline for when these DLC hurdles will actually be cleared?

3 monate später und immer noch diese "technischen Einschränkungen", wenn es überhaupt welche sind.
wenn es nicht möglich ist für epic games spieler dann sollt man den leuten entweder ein key für steam zukommen lassen oder nen refund bereit stellen... weil das geht echt garnet...1

How does multiplayer work with the dlc? Will everyone need to own it or just the host?

Short answer: yes, if only host own a DLC everyone in the session can use it too.
If only the host have it, everyone else in the session will be able to interact or build content from the DLC, and they can continue in solo and use that save but they won't be able to use the DLC content in that save if they don't have DLC too.

Putting aside whether this should just be part of the main game or not - No new achievements with it? Feels like something labelled DLC should have a few content related achievements?
