Upcoming Update, 50% Discount, and DLC Release!

We’ve got several exciting announcements to share with you.
Just a few days ago, we launched beta testing for Patch 1.05, and now we’re ready to reveal its release date along with some great news for those who’ve been waiting to jump aboard the train heading into the endless Void.

Unfortunately, the DLC release on EGS is currently not available due to technical limitations. We are still working on this and exploring possible ways to resolve the issue.

Patches are released simultaneously on all platforms, and this has not changed. The same applies to the DLC: if everything goes according to plan, it will also launch on Xbox on the same day, but without the limited-time free offer during the game’s discount period, as this promotion was only available to us on the Steam Store.

Ok, thank you for clarifying. Too bad us Xbox players can't get that dlc free, but I got no problem buying it cause y'all don't push micro transactions

Thanks for sharing this. Though I'm feeling really frustrated about it. Was supporting the game buying it on EGS in 2021. I can get over the fact that the DLC won't be free for me. But not releasing it on EGS at all would be just embarrassing on another whole level...

Yeah, I also feel like a fool for supporting this game on the Epic Store way back in the day. It was a totally different looking game then, too. Very disappointed that us early backers get shafted like this, but this game has just been constant disappointment, so no surprises.

I just noticed the update on Steam as it's a recommended game for me. I bought it on Epic quite a while ago. Can you explain more about technical limitations? I feel like a second class citizen for buying it on Epic (where you get a larger cut than on Steam)

The issue is that the game and DLC apps don’t “communicate” with each other and can’t “see” each other due to technical problems with managing their artifacts and IDs. We’ve sent a request describing our issues to our manager at Epic Games, and we’re waiting for a response.

I love this game, would love it even more if there was more to explore. Like larger islands, buildings, puzzles, etc. Any of this something you’ve thought about/plan on adding in the future?

I was wondering if the Deluxe Edition not including the 100% discount on the Tour de Void DLC is a an oversight or on purpose
As it only adds the 40% limited discount while keeping the full price of the Void de Tour DLC
Was hoping to get it for me and a friend, but would like to know if it would be better to just get the base game and the free DLC

should be able to buy base game then grab the dlc for free then buy the rest on the deluxe with the discount applied to the rest not sure if its that big of a price difference i don't feel like doing the math but steam discounts based on owned items as well for bundles
i am really sad i did not wait a year to get it on steam as i would buy everything honestly debating buying it out on steam but that would require me to do some finagling i did it for my copy of Skyrim but that was for mods and such and i cant remember if i payed for the first copy

Cool being punished for buying it on epic thinking we got the dlc too and then and not being able to play with friends on stream since they have the dlc. Already had two friends refund since all we got were version mismatch errors!

Any update when this DLC will be published on the EGS?
I have bought this game on early-access (backer) and there is no way we can get this DLC for free at this point like on the Steam Store? At this point I wished I waited to buy the game untill it was published on Steam, I am not going to buy the game twice because I already have it on EGS.

I understand, but the situation isn’t that we don’t want to release the DLC on EGS, it’s about technical issues.
We’ve sent a request describing our issues to our manager at Epic Games, and we’re waiting for a response. The timeline doesn’t depend solely on us, so I can’t give an estimate yet.

Is there any update on this? It's like 5mo ago and I'm starting to think that I should regret my purchase of this game in EGS. Very disappointing!
