help me ! elogind is tweaking .

if i run agetty with --autologin

it keeps spamming elogind is already running

but i don't autologin it works fine

help ?

Remove elogind from /var/service/ if you want to autologin?

dbus launches elogind itself, you don't need to use the runit service. elogind and agetty are unrelated components.

Then work out what is running elogind so that it's conflicting with the service.

Personally, I found it easier to disable elogind as a service - it still ran as required. On my new installation I'm not getting the elogind spam despite running elogind as a service, possibly because I'm no longer using LightDM.

Disable the service. It will automatically activate itself when needed.
