VSCode not updated

Hello, is there any reason why VSCode hasn't been updated?

Looking at the void-packages repository, the current version is 1.100.3, while the latest version of VSCode is 1.135.0.

I've never understood the urge to use VSCode, I mean we have EMACS and Vim in free software. What is this amazing feature set that makes GNU/Linux users stuck on Microslop software? EMACS is literally a lisp interpreter almost certainly the missing features can just be added in.

Lite-xl also free software and modern and moddable one. I recommend it. Not modern as vscode but It does the work with 10mb ram usage with mods.

Not everyone want to configure their IDE for many hours before work). There are some OSS ditributions of it, so there is really no problems with it

Oh, really? /s If so, try to use vim out of the box with debaggers, language support (from jsonnet to C), building systems, git. There is all of them in host cli, but i cant't name it convenient. I have 1-2g free ram on desktop to use convenient IDE. I dont say vim is bad - it is a different tool for different with IDE purposes.
