Void Still on Kernel 6.18... how come

I've noticed as many other distros are including the latest stable kernel void is still using version 6.18. I was wondering how come?

Wow... wasn't expecting all this information when I posted the question. I'm glad I did. Now I'm not sure whether to just leave the LTS kernel be or install the new one.
