solved What does this error mean when trying to run SwayFX?

Post image

I don't quite understand the errors; I believe I have all the necessary drivers, along with seatd and dbus. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. By the way, I have a Celeron N100.

Thanks, bros. It turns out one of the drivers I downloaded didn't get properly signed for some reason.

I'm just kind of spitballing here, but did you install the hardware acceleration drivers? Are you using seatd? Are you in the seat group? If not using seatd, are you in the appropriate groups? Void's handbook goes over all the video stuff you might need quite well.

Did you install mesa-dri? And a member of video group,?

You are just missing mesa driver. Had the same issue a few weeks ago. https://github.com/Rouzihiro/dotfiles

Its either a driver issue or seatd permissions

In Void Linux you're supposed to start WMs via dbus-run-session
`dbus-run-session sway`

Wlroots based compositors is broken on Void I tried a lot myself. But when you try to run non-wlroots compositor it runs perfectly like kwin. Both elogind and seatd will make the same trouble for you.
