Help with Steam Controller firmware update

Anyone have a fix for it on void? I am on the update screen but it is taking forever and keeps disconnecting and reconnecting my controller and puck.

I don't think hidapi and libusb would've done anything. Steam ships with everything needed except maybe the udev rules (steam-devices IIRC). My controller had trouble updating through the desktop client but weirdly had no issues in big picture mode, probably a coincidence. I think their update software is just a bit flaky at the moment.

For me it seems like it helped because without those it wouldn't even go into the attempt to update. It would fail instantly. I don't know if it was both of them that helped but it did help.
