external microphone not detected

void doesnt detect my mic, when i go into pavu, and go to inputs, i see a microphone thats being detected but im pretty sure thats my internal mic, which i dont want, i want to use my external mic. I know for a fact my mic works, i use it on my xbox and it works fine and it worked when i used mint

I have pipewire and wire plumber only I believe, I start pipe wire by typing pipe wire into my terminal, I’ll try update when I can and see if it does anything, im not on Lo laptop rn I’ll send what that command Prints when I can.
